We aim to make the process of buying or selling your home as smooth and straight forward as we can, with limited legal jargon
We understand that a house sale or purchase, or both, is one of the most important decisions you will make for yourselves and your family.
Below you will find details of our legal fees for acting for you on a sale and purchase, which cover all the work we are required to undertake on your behalf to complete your property transaction.
We have also detailed the cost of what are called “disbursements”, which are the additional costs you will incur such as payment of Land Registry Fees, Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), searches etc.
Links to the HM Land Registry website have been provided to enable you to calculate the cost of registering the property into your name at the Land Registry as each transaction is dependent on the purchase price you are paying.  Likewise, the payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax depends on a number of different factors so you are referred to the HMRC website where you can undertake the relevant calculation.
All prices quoted are based on you selling or buying a property in the UK.
We would also refer you to the “Specification of Work” which details the process of selling and buying a property which we hope gives you all the information you may need to understand what will be involved in the transaction.
Please note that for all of our conveyancing transaction we act on a “No Move No Fee” basis, this means that if for any reason you are unable to proceed with your sale or purchase, we will make no charge for the legal work undertaken on your behalf.  Please bear in mind however that if, for example, you are purchasing a property, you may already have incurred disbursements for search fees etc.
