Sam Ennor-Pengelly
Samantha (Sam) has been with the firm since 2005 when she started as our Office Junior. After passing her secretarial courses Sam has progressed to a Paralegal within our Probate Department in 2013 and is now the Head of our Probate Department, supervised by Michele May. Sam has qualified as an Associate of Cilex and is now completing her Solicitor apprenticeships. After joining the firm, Sam found that she had a passion for helping the elderly and can assist you with:

• Powers of Attorney
• Advising on Care Home Fees
• Trusts
• Probate matters
Many clients have thanked Sam for her sympathetic and knowledgeable approach to their matters whether it being losing a loved one or help with writing a Will or preparing a power of attorney. Sam appreciates each client is different and will do her best to put elderly clients at ease. Although Sam is mainly based in our Liskeard office she also covers appointments in our Looe and Callington offices and offers home appointments for clients who are unable to come to the offices (for an additional fee).
In 2024, Sam was awarded Cornwall Law Society’s Private Client of the Year, an achievement of which she is proud to have received after receiving second place in 2023. In addition to this, in 2020 Sam was shortlisted for Paralegal Legal of the Year through her work with her clients and also the Cornwall Junior Lawyer Division .
Sam sat on the Cornwall Law Society Committee and was appointed as Chair for the Cornwall Junior Lawyers from 2016 until 2021. During her spare time Sam spends time with her young family and dog who keep her busy. Sam has been in her local St John Ambulance since she was 11 years old and she is the Unit Manager for the Badger and Cadet units in Liskeard.
