Samantha (Sam) has been with the firm since 2005 when she started as our Office Junior. After passing her secretarial courses Sam has progressed to a Paralegal within our Probate Department in 2013 and is now the Head of our Probate Department. Sam has qualified as an Associate of Cilex and is now completing her Solicitor apprenticeships.

Many clients have thanked Sam for her sympathetic and knowledgeable approach to their matters whether it being loosing a loved one or help with writing a Will or preparing a power of attorney. Sam appreciates each client is different and will do her best to put elderly clients at ease.
Although Sam is mainly based in our Liskeard office she also covers appointments in our Looe and Callington offices and offers home appointments for clients who are unable to come to the offices (for an additional fee).
In 2020 Sam was shortlisted for Paralegal Legal of the Year through her work with her clients and also the Cornwall Junior Lawyer Division . In addition to this, she was shortlisted for Private Client Lawyer of the Year by the Cornwall Law Society in 2023 and received 2nd place and this was due to her dedication to her clients.
Sam sat on the Cornwall Law Society Committee and was appointed as Chair for the Cornwall Junior Lawyers from 2016 until 2021.
During her spare time Sam spends time with her young family who keep her busy. Sam can also be found out and about with St John Ambulance where she is the Unit Manager for the Cadet unit in Liskeard. Occasionally Sam has appeared on the stage with the Polbathic Players and enjoys being in amateur plays.
