Making a Lasting Power of Attorney

It is a good opportunity to review or consider powers of attorney when writing your Will. In our opinion, powers of attorney are more important than Wills because they make provision to look after our clients while they are alive.

What is a Lasting Power of Attorney?

A Lasting Power of Attorney provides an opportunity for you to appoint your own choice of attorney to look after your affairs, both financial and/or health, should you become incapable for whatever reason. Alternatively, you may be housebound and unable to take care of your day-to-day needs or in a care home, having lost your capacity.

We can guide you through the power of attorney process and assist you with the completion of the forms, the application to register the forms and any other enquiries or assistance you may require.

Price packages for Lasting Powers of Attorney start at £285.00 plus VAT @ 20% and registration fee per form. We can also offer packages for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney when completed together. Please contact us for more information.

We are able to offer home appointments for a small additional charge to clients who are unable to make it to one of our offices.
